HESKINS SAILING TEAM INTO THE "TOP 5" BEST PLATU 25 SPANISH FLEET

The Platu 25 sponsored by "Heskins Non Slip Solutions" has debuted in its first Spanish Championship, concluding with a great 4th position.

The Nationals has taken place in Valencia, lots of sailing teams coming from different cities wanted to participate in the Championship. This race is one of the most imporntants of The Class calendar, due to the high level teams based in Spain and the good weather conditions.

The first day race was difficult for Team Heskins, one member of the crew fell overboard while fighting for a good positiond in the leeward mark. Fortunately he didn't get hurt and they kept on racing, but the incident made them lose a lot of time and accordingly, some ranking positions.

The approach of the next races was completly different as expected, there was a huge pressure to achieve a better position,  they couldn't make any other mistake if they wanted to get good results.

From the second day race to the last day race, the Team Heskins was highly concentrated and their results changed quite a lot. Every partial result was into the "top 5" and they began to move up in the table. They were the first boat to cross the finish line in the last two races. 

This was a succesfully goodby for the Team Heskins to the 2012 Platu 25 Spanish Campionship in the 4th overall classification, very close to the podium.
